After spending six years with the North Dakota Army National Guard as a logistics and supply specialist, I leveraged my military experience and the skills I learned on a nine month overseas deployment to enter the public sector and into the world of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. It was there that I learned the importance of being present with candidates and empathetic to their needs.
